Dear Valued Members,
I am very pleased to be writing my first correspondence to you as your new General Manager. In an effort to improve the playing surface of Tam Dao Golf course we have initiated a plan to remove and replace the rough throughout the golf course. This will take some time and we ask for your kind patience during this period.
If your ball happens to come to rest in this area or within the machinery being used you are entitled a ‘free drop’ relief from GUR (Ground under repair rule 25-1). This area will not be marked with white paint due to the excessive size. If you and your group is undecided then please call for the Golf Operations Manager, Mr. Trung on 01682595559 or myself on 0983 77 33 11. In the case time is an issue please play the ‘two ball’ rule and later within the clubhouse I or Trung can determine the final rule for you.
The removal on the rough has started as of today on hole 10 and will take approximately 1 week per hole, weather permitting.
